Why immigration authorities increasingly ask for UDIN-verified CA reports alongside visa financial documents.

Many student, work and immigration visa applications require a Chartered Accountant's certificate or report — most commonly a net worth certificate, income certificate, or sponsorship/funds-availability report — as proof of financial standing to the receiving country's immigration authority.
A growing number of embassies and immigration consultants now specifically require these reports to carry a valid UDIN (Unique Document Identification Number), a verification system introduced by ICAI that lets anyone confirm a CA report is genuine and was actually issued by a practising, registered Chartered Accountant — reports without a verifiable UDIN are increasingly being rejected outright, regardless of their content.
Getting a CA report prepared and UDIN-registered well before a visa appointment, rather than as a last-minute addition, avoids the specific failure mode of an otherwise complete application being sent back purely because its financial documentation couldn't be verified.
