TG LAWCET (Telangana Law Common Entrance Test) is the official entrance examination, conducted by Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education, for admission into 3-year and 5-year LL.B courses at law colleges across the state for 2026-27. Intermediate-pass students can apply for the 5-year course and graduates from any stream for the 3-year course, with no upper age limit on applicants — working professionals and career-changers are equally eligible.

The exam runs for 90 minutes across 120 objective-type questions with no negative marking, split into general knowledge and mental ability, current affairs, and aptitude for the study of law (the highest-weighted section). Minimum qualifying marks are 35%, with no minimum requirement for SC/ST candidates. Applications are submitted online only, with a fee of ₹900 for general category and ₹600 for SC/ST/PH candidates, and test centres span Hyderabad's four zones plus Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar, Khammam, Siddipet, Adilabad and Sangareddy.
